This brooch belonged to my mother. I remember it from my childhood which means it's at least from the early 70's, but possibly MUCH older. Sadly it's just been sitting in a box for the last 35+ years which means it is also in MINT CONDITION!!

The brooch is sterling silver oval, measuring approx 2" x 1.25", with delicate filigree flowers, all BEAUTIFULLY accented with sparkling marcasite!

The back is marked with two side by side "J" in opposing triangles (together they make a diamond shape). It's also clearly marked "STERLING" and next to that is another very hard to read mark that I believe says "925K", or possibly "925R".

The Rollover clasp on the back is in perfect working order, plus there is a small loop at the top for a chain on a jump ring (not included).

This brooch is a BEAUTY- both vintage AND in mint condition! Don't let it get away!
