Words can not describe how beautiful this old little trinket/pill box is. it is not tin it is metal gold plated with blue porcelain finish inside base and inside lid. Heavily decorated and jeweled with deep indigo blue vibrant reds, green colors with Butterflies and flowers. Total weight 1.6 oz.
To make this listing even better I have included some of my favorite old buttons. Includes assortment from small to large metal hoops and 2 and 4 button holes in plastic, leather, Acrylic and metal. Solid and Pearl Finishes All round and textures includes a rare acorn button and a large black snakeskin textured black button. 14 Buttons total. Winner takes all. No Gin Request Please.

I do not know, I never knew that word. I did look it up Thanks for the info! It does sound just like they are describing that exact trinket box in wikipedia except mine/yours has no wiring I don't think. I am sure after reading that, that it is porcelain powder because it has a very smooth thick feel to it. What an interesting lesson. Thanks so much. Now I for sure want to keep it. Its SO Beautiful. But I wont. I am a woman of my word. But if you or whoever wins it does not LOVE it I will drive around the world and take it back! j/k Merry Christmas!
