I have a tashiba laptop. It works but it needs a new hard drive an it needs a charger. But it turns on it does work tho good luck

The guy that says you need to have a new HDD because he thinks your HDD has been corrupted. You just need to reformat the HDD and you're good to go. But since you list it here, good luck to the winner. If you'll ship the HDD together with this item, the winner will just reformat the unit and its new again. F&W!

what does it say when you try and boot? no HDD and no charger thanks but no thanks I just bought a laptop that needs those things for $20

Sounds like the HD may have been reformatted, which wipes out whatever OS and programs were on it. Fortunately, I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 8.1 and the tech preview of 10 on disk.
