(other than grammar and description edits) I put my auctions up with people knowing that I am never going to GIN out something that they have been saving for. Also this ring is Brand New and Sterling Silver and if it bids out for less than my GIN then it was meant to be but I also list my GINS as less than their retail price. I appreciate it very much that you like it enough to offer however I have to say no for all the reasons I have listed. Okay I will make the shortest of a long story. I have lots of cabs and cut stones. My hubby and I cast the metal and the stones I am sure I got in bulk but when I get them their beautifully cut but honestly I don't know for sure what the Karat of stone is. My best guess is 1 Carat or better but I can't guarantee it. I have had Cancer for the last few years and so our 3500 square foot store was packed up while I was in treatment by our friends and family so we could sell the building. So everything was in storage in my basement so records from stones and boxes packed without any sense to it. So I am doing my best. I can tell you that I made it but I didn't cut the stone. I did set it. So I do apologize for not knowing exactly.
I ship on Monday if it is prior to noon on Monday when I receive on the person's Listia address. Then depending on where you live it will be 3 to 5 days. Tomorrow is Saturday and so there is a tiny window in which I can ship which being as late as it is it would be Monday when it is shipped. But if you are worried about having it by Christmas then I can say with reasonable certainty that you will have it prior to Christmas. I am so sorry that happened to you. That is why I ALWAYS ship with tracking so that you can see from the moment I ship to the moment it comes to your door. If you decide to GIN it I can say that unless you Live in NY or WA state I can say with reasonable (from experience) faith that is should be there in no more than four days. Friday next is my cut off for Christmas day shipping. But since it would be shipped on the 15th then that gives it 5 days to get to you and it rarely takes more than four days unless it is WA state or NY. Then it can be 6 to 9. I live smack in the middle of the country so it is pretty equal to wherever it is going. Some states are two days if you live in the center of the country. Again, I hate to hear that someone didn't ship to you. Please know that is a rare thing here on Listia. Most people are Super Honest and only want make others happy. First Let me say a big THANK YOU for your wonderful compliment. Now to address your questions. Yes it can be modified in size. The rule is NO MORE than 1 up or 2 down. I of course leave that to the winners discretion and jeweler. Please remember when you take a to a jeweler they will stretch the band to make it bigger and when they down size they take silver out of the band and its not like they are going to give you the extra when pick it up...they keep it. So remember that when you are negotiating the price for the sizing. My suggestion is to go with the few and Mom and Pop jewelers that are left in this world because they do it out of Love for the work and not working for the Boss....if that makes any sense. When you go any bigger or smaller than earlier indicated you start to loose structural integrity as well as the artist vision for the ring.
