Huge, bright orange-scarlet flowers standing atop 3' stems are a focal point in May and June each year. Excellent for cutting The blossoms are a favorite for butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. Sunlight makes their translucent petals positively glow with color. Plants bloom profusely in May and June, from the year after the seed is sown and onward. Grows 18-30 in. tall. Best in full to partial sun; almost any soil. Zones 3-8 Long lived perennial indispensable in the perennial border. Crepe paper-like blooms with strong vibrant color.
