Up for auction is this marvelous sterling silver ring size 8, stamped 925. The large oval cut violet amethyst is beautiful. Nine brilliant round cut amethysts outline the main stone on a double band. Amethyst is the birthstone of February. MERRY CHRISTMAS--FREE GIFT!

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
