Hardy Hibiscus is a large growing perennial that blooms throughout the summer. There are several varieties available with flowers ranging from three to twelve inches in diameter. The flower color varies in shades of pink, red, and white. The leaves are a dull green color with a glossy top and pubescent on the underside. These plants will die back to the ground during the winter but in spring they emerge and grow quickly to mature size.
Select a site with full sun and well-drained soil.
