This is a very, very nice piece of fabric 100% cotton -the design indicates it is either for a tablecloth or could be used for a nice wall hanging or table runner. If used for a craft the 8 1/2" that runs at the bottom of the pattern can be cut off and that would still leave 47 1/2" in width that can be used for a lot of things. Even the 8 1/2" part (which is wine and burgandy stripes with holly running between the stripes and the rest of the fabric) could be used for some nice napkins or trim on a quilt. Like I said, this is a very nice, high quality piece of fabric.
