Y'all are preaching to the choir!! I love no drama. Smooth is key. With both of you that is how it has been. Wish everyone could be like that. Oh and Dave...Karma will always come back around...good or bad.

So now, I never give feedback to a buyer (unless it's someone I've been dealing with for a while) until they give me feedback. But, in 3,000 transactions I've actually had very few problems, but they do seem to happen in fits and starts ...

You want to hear something funny. So i will tell you my bad experience. I won call of duty black ops for xbox 360 for 3400 credits and free shipping. So i sent shipping info no problem the next day. I get a message from her son with this account saiding my mom was in a accident she cannot send the game so ask for a refund. Okay i'll him the benefit of doubt. I didn't leave feedback i waited til the next day. She post like six more auction purse, earring, clothes things her son would not listing lol. So i ask for the refund, gave her negative feedback, and block her. She had 952 feedback all positive. I was surprise and annoyed but i decided to let it go.
Cannot spend too much time or energy giving her another thought. She relisted the game the same day with a gin for 9000. I believe that she was not happy with what it sold for and decided just not to give to me. It funny to me now i believe that karma will come back to her.

As much as I hate to post neutral or negative feedback, I think it's important to warn other Listia members when they are dealing with someone who's not playing with a full deck ... if a seller I'm having trouble with is selling similar items, like gift cards that they clearly can't provide, I'll also go on their listings and warn buyers with a comment. To do that, you have to unblock them, leave the comment, and them block them again.

I'm dealing with a crazy one now ... won a gift card from her four days ago. She said she'd send it to me on Friday. This morning she sends me a message that it will have to be tomorrow. So, I said, that's okay, if she can't get it to me tomorrow I"ll just request a refund and be done with it. So she goes ballistic, sends an e-mail to me privately, so it doesn't show up on the listing, saying how RUDE I am that I'm rushing her. So I went ahead and requested a refund. It will have to wait until a moderator refunds the credits, because she's going bonkers on the listing thread saying how someone like me shouldn't be allowed on Listia.

I, unfortunately, DO like to egg people like that on ... LOL. Told her that she could have sent that gift code 100 times over in the time she'd taken to b*tch at me about it ...

Ha ha ha this is very funny to me. How hard is it to send a gift card. If it's a e gift card it should be very fast. I think some people list them without having the money to buy them and that's big no no lol. Im a big believer in the old saying "If you do it right the first time you never have to do it again." I know it go something like that darn it im pretty close lol.

Then there's the people who leave negative feedback for no apparent reason. I block them too when I see them ... just go to their page and check to see how many negative feedbacks they've left. Some people make a real habit of it ...

I hate leaving negative feedback, unless im being lies to or someone is a scammer and full of hot air, excuses,bs, all the above, lol. Crazy people i just ignore and avoid all cost. Sometimes you just can't win. I spend alot of laughing instead of getting mad. It's the worst when someone at mad at me. If there anger is valid im the first to say im wrong. But if it's not i won't argue i'll just laugh in their general direction lol.

I also like to browse other people's feedback, especially people I like and trust on Listia. If I find someone has given the neutral or negative feedback, I check out the listing and then usually block them too. I think that helps protect me to some extent from the crazies who haven't stumbled upon my listings yet.

I tend to read comment sand see how someone carries themselves. If someone is good person you can tell by their actions, what they say in general conversation. Of course lies can be said. But lies are pretty transparent. I try to treat people the same way i want to be treated with respect.

Thank you very much peggy as you get to know me my goal is to make people happy it bring a smile to my face and im having alot of fun doing it. I am always trying new things for listia. This site is great and giving back to it bring a smile to my face. So it's the least i can do. When i first came here i didn't understand what this site was about. So i watched and watched other users give from the heart, I mean some really nice things i watch a lady give a xbox 360 with 2 games and kinect with a receipt and free shipping i couldn't believe what i seeing. The spirit of giving in action. I read people commenst some calling her crazy, some asking her for money, some thanking her. She was the first that had a effect on me i sent her a message in the auction telling her "she inspire me". I wanted to give too. She not the only one, auction after auction for two weeks i kept seeing the same thing. Then i bidded on my first listia reward auction and saw listia doing the same thing giving back the member of the site. I was completely blown away by this and i want to do whatever i could to give back. So 50 auctions later lol here i am doing my best to give back.

LOL, Dave, I love your creativity but this is getting hard to follow! I'm finding that lately any auctions that have any complexity ~ i.e. tiered, choice, etc.~ always seem to be won by someone who is asleep at the wheel. I've had to refund four auctions in the lat two weeks because the bidders changed their minds. I don't mind refunding so long as I haven't shipped, but those bidders are blocked. Don't need the hassle!

Me too, it doesn't cost me anything since I don't have to ship, so I always refund, but I'm just getting a little frustrated lately. I mean, my photos and descriptions are clear as a bell ... just hope you don't have any craziness. I'll try to win, solve the problem!

Lol i should be fine. Alot of times i think people misunderstand the auction. Granted you have the random people who want scam and lie. I had some bad sellers where i would win the item and the seller would not ship it or make a excuse why they cannot sent it. Or my personal favorite just ignore you flat out listia protect the buyer pretty well so the only thing that happen is your credits are tie up for 7 days. But overtime with negative feedback and reporting these people i think the site will balance out. For the most part i had good experience with listia and it's members 8-10 transaction have been great always like 2 bad ones lol. But compare to other sites and their fees and fees and customer service that only protect buyers and not sellers listia is a blessing.

I had a buyer who said she bid by "mistake" on a Get It Now, no less. I refunded her credits as soon as she sent the request, then gave ME negative feedback after I left neutral feedback for her. I was STEAMING mad ... but I contacted Listia and they changed it to a neutral, so Listia will fix stuff like that when it's obvious you don't deserve a negative. I love Listia, they've always been very fair to me when I've had an issue.

On the other hand, a buyer let me know today that an item I shipped got damaged. He offered to send it back to me, but I just told him to request his credits back, and I refunded him right away. Very smooth, no drama ... wish they were all like that!

Yeah, but maybe not for another lifetime or so. Some people seem to get away with bad behavior for a LONG time ... particularly on Listia. Listia never seems to boot anyone off, and in some cases I think they should.

My credits are in "Listia limbo" until the 5 days passes and then they'll refund them but by then it will have been 22 days that my credits were tied up. Guess I should have asked for refund sooner but I was trusting this seller and trying to be patient. It's a shame people are so dishonest :(
