Description

The listing, MTG Green&Blue deck Modern Format battle ready has ended.

80 near mint cards total - 35 creatures - 19 instants, sorcery, enchantments/auras - 5 artifacts - 10 green lands 10 blue lands and land gate.

those familiar with how to play and build decks will not need the following explanation

in most areas there are comic shops, that have sanctioned matches every friday night, in different formats, modern format is a very popular and common one. modern allows allsets from Mirrodin to the current set with a banned list of about 30 cards. if you like more info about modern format i provided a link that should help.

in modern format your deck must contain a minimum of 60 cards in your library(deck) and max of 15 cards in a side board(can be switched out with library between matches). with the 80 cards supplied you will be able to play them all at once or keep it low around 60 cards in library and build a side board, either way you will have success. i tested the the deck with 70 cards in library all the lands and rest in a side board, against one of my own red and white decks i have used at sanctioned friday night matches. my friend helped by playing the green and blue, he one 2 out of 5 matches with it. it was his first time but he picked up fast. the first match i won explaining the game so it doesn't count really. he won the next match i won 3rd and 4th he won the 5th. considering he was a newb against my experienced deck this is really good.

if GIN used i will add 2 common foils a 2 uncommon from all colors

One of my friends does that, a lot, too. He also does not care about winning, he goes for unique ideas and fun combos. He has been called "Hat-deck Kevin" for a few years. One day while he was sorting his cards, he decided to throw a couple piles across the room, a few of them landing in a hat; so he decided to build a deck out of them, and he ended up taking Top 4 in a tournament with it.

yeah sounds like me, but i want to win with them lol. i have made 2 color zombie decks, 3 color human cleric decks . the main deck i love to use is a white and red human solider deck with red dragons, my fav is mordant dragon. i think deck building and trying different things is the funnest thing about magic, not just imitating what you see on pro tour matches to win.

It is odd this deck held its own against a tournament level deck, the only decent card is Invisible Stalker.

haha i couldnt tell if that was a insult or not but i knew there be criticism when i made this post, and im fine with it i know what this deck is capable of and what its not. i never said it was great but i think it will win some games at your local friday night matches. and yes it is a sneaky devil, its also the only one worth some money too about 60 cent, no point playing with hi dollar cards. i really think you judge the rest of them to quickly i set it up as a good starter deck with the right ratios between 60-70 you will get good draws every time and get creatures on the field quick, lots of good 3 cost to cast but still some good ones 4 and up.

If anything, it would be a compliment. To be able to take a peasant deck like that{mostly commons with a few uncommons} and withstand a tournament level deck, that would most likely have high synergy rares and such.

haha i thought so, your right it is a pretty basic deck, but ithink it can hold its own and could easily be improved with just a few rares. and thats kinda my style to root for the underdog, take a bunch of nothings and try to turn them into champions.
