The listing, 10 Cape Gooseberry Seeds! has ended.
10 seeds from the wonderful little fruit the Cape Gooseberry! Great for eating right off the bush or making preserves, or pie! Sweet little golden orbs about the size of a blueberry. Grows with a papery husk around it. Yes its related to the Tomatillo and decorative Chinese Lantern plant. Start the seeds indoors like your tomatoes. Plant outside when all threat of frost is gone. Fruit is ripe 70-80 days after it flowers. Cape Gooseberry HATES fertilizer and does much better with benign neglect. If you live in a frost free zone cape gooseberry is a perennial.
