This is a very vintage hand held, reel, film fed, wind up, push button, keystone k-36 movie camera!
this is one of the 1st hand held movie camera's that was ever invented! remember the old, classic, choppy, black & white movies that looked like it had a twig of hair moving across the picture the whole time it was playing? well here you go!
this camera is in excellent shape, the insides look brand new, there's only 1 reel in it though, you turn the lock on the side to open it, you wind the wind up thingy on the other side to make it operable and when you push the button on the front under the lense area or viewing area it winds down until it stops! while its winding down (as you're pushing the button at the same time) you're filming a movie and to keep filming you have to wind it back up! the little metal things with the square holes that go across the little window under the viewer lets you control which size you want the frame to be.
i haven't looked around for a replacement reel to go inside it so i have no clue where to get one, and all the mechanical parts of this camera work like they were brand new. i have wound it up several times and pushed the button as though i were filming and it works great! this camera is very heavy--i would say it weighs about 1lb or a little more. it has a flat bottom on it so that it sits perfect on a flat surface and it has a standard sized threaded hole also in the bottom so that you can attach a tripod to it!
