It zips. Black interior. There is a label that clearly states "Genuine Leather." It measures 10" in length - 10" wide. The strap is tied, but it can be untied to suit anyone's needs. Right now is hangs 14". There is a pocket on the inside for storage that zips as well. Hope that helps! It's SO cute and colorful! It's so hard to see in the pictures, but I can assure you - it's awesome!
