If you ever want this art piece, and you don;t mind not to receive the glass and backing, I can always just put it in a large envelope reinforced with cardboard and in that case the shipping fees will only $5.15 to California.

Yes! I have shipped to Canada and I know it's expensive. I could frame it myself. I more so worry about the glass breaking and ruining it. Mail in my area is horrible and five of my Listia wins came broke even though they were packed well. I would definitely take you up on that offer.

Ok, good, I also think that's the best, after all, the back and frame are simple ones, from dollarstore, so you are not loosing anything there :-)

I'll still put a hard cardboard in the envelope so it doesn't get bent :-)
