More oriental items from my collection that has been in storage for 20+ years.
This folding fan is beautiful, but not authentic. It is made of what looks like muslin which appears to have been screen painted, with the black lace trim sewn on. The rest is molded, hard, black plastic stamped with gold designs. The up-side of this is that it is pretty sturdy and easily cleaned/dusted. The fan folds out to 17 1/2" wide and is 10" high. Completely folded it ranges from just under 1" to about 2" wide.
There are two pair of chopsticks
One pair is black enamel with 4 inlays on each stick. These are 4-sided tapering down to pointed ends. They are 9" long and do appear to have some worn areas, so maybe they were actually used for eating sometime long ago
The other pair is ochre & ivory colored with what appears to be hand-painted black & gold oriental designs/letters. These are 10" long and round with flat ends.

I have to go shopping for an appropriate shaped/sized box but I believe I can keep the total shipping weight to 9 oz or under which means exact shipping for a 1st class pkg should be right around $3.50.paid thru PayPal to ruthlarkin@peoplepc.com
