"One of the Best Nascar games made"
I remember when I first seen some screenshots of this game and I noticed that the game had better graphics then it did in 2000. When I finally got the game and started to play it I thought it was one of the best Nascar game made for the PlayStation. If some people thought that Nascar 2000 was a great game they should play Nascar 2001 for the PlayStation because Daytona (finally appearing in a Nascar game made by EA Sports) made it's debut in this game for the first Nascar game. When I first raced at Daytona I thought that the cars would handle like they did in 2000 but I was wrong but I was able to get used to the game within 2-3 weeks after I got the game. All right let's get straight to the review:
Graphics: 9/10
These are the best graphics used in a Nascar game for the PlayStation. Anyone who thinks elsewise can find themselves a different racing game to play if they don't like this game.
Control: 8.9/10
The control on this game is o.k. but it has a few flaws in the game with the control. One flaw in this game is how the cars turn at Road Courses (Such as Watkins Glen and Sears Point).
Difficulty: 9.1/10
The difficulty of this game is great because when I put the difficulty onto Veteren or Legend it is very challenging for me and anyone else that have played this game. This can be a challenge especially if you are doing a full season.
Sound: 9/10
I know that I don't put sound on most of my reviews because I intend to forget to put this down on some of my reviews. The sound of this game is better than that of 2000 because EA Sports have improved the game including sound and even the graphics.
OVERALL: 9/10
Overall this is the one of the best games made for the PlayStation that I've played. Anyone who had played games (such as Gran Turismo or any other type of game like that) might enjoy playing this game because this is as close as EA can get with the Nascar franchise
