Questions & Comments
you are exceeding the limit of $6 to ship jewelry and I usually only spend $3 for shipping a ring in a bubble wrap mailer with tracking. You should describe the stamps/markings and tell the size so people know if it is a ring they can use. Expanding upon the information you can give (especially on an expensive item) will bring in a bigger number of credits for you and attract more serious attention for your auction. Thanks and welcome to Listia ;D
In order to have better results with this auction, please add more details regarding your item. Your auction is missing a description or picture. These two things will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. We also highly recommend that you include pictures of the actual item that is being auctioned, (not just use stock photos from the manufacturer). For higher valued items, please include a notecard or piece of paper with your Listia username in one of the pictures of the actual item. This will also reduce the number of questions that your bidders will ask, and most importantly, you`ll get the best results with your auction.
Thanks for making these changes and good luck with your auction!
Just remember COMMUNICATION is the number one key element in having success in Listia. If something is represented as "gold" or "silver" or "diamond" etc. you need to be accurate. If it is man-made, lab-created, imitation, or just colored metal without being solid, that is essential in the description. Always being honest to say "I don't know" is appreciated. We never want to misrepresent an item and the winner is disappointed when her bids were very high with expectations that are not met. So just be careful that you use accurate descriptions. You will get very high credits in the end when you offer real gold and not plated, filled or "toned" as well as true gems that are natural and authentic. Good luck to you. Merry Christmas as well ;D
And it would help immensely to add more photos that are clear and especially show the stamps and markings in the inner side of the band and the back of the setting. How do you know the size of the diamond and the purity of the metal? So you are certain this is a REAL diamond and REAL white gold?? thanks so much. Your answers will make all the difference in this auction, I guarantee!!!! ;D
It might be 10 i'am expose to wear glasses n a six n zero look alike to me like i said it was my grandmothers. n my camera on the phone don't work all that well been lookin for update for it but will try to get a betger pic soon sorry
I know tha there is a stamp inside the ring it was my grandmothers n my mom told me what i said it was. i'am expose to wear glasses but they got broke so iam sorry if it is not what i said it is! the bidders can have their credits back! but truly do apologize but that is what i got told but i do know that it is real gold or there would not be a stamp embeddex
I bidded on a diamond from tiffinys and won it for 7000 but it was to good to be true never sent it I was"nt happy I"m not saying that you"re not going to send it im just saying that it went cheap
Marlie, I like all your auctions and you are doing awesome helping her. I've done the same but you shouldn't tell her she should make at least 300,000. This varies immensely and she may be disappointed if she doesn't. That might be an amount sellers would hope to get but it's an auction so you never know. Don't take offense to this please, just not a good idea, especially for new sellers. :)
That's an unusual setting for real gold. It looks very heavy. Now are you certain it is not stainless steel or silver even? It might be worth your while to have a jeweler look it over and tell you some of the facts. You won't get to keep the credits in the end if it is misrepresented. And I pray I'm not offending you. Just don't want you to waste your time. Hopefully all is as it sounds. good luck ;D
And if you convince everyone that this is legitimate 10k white gold with 1/2 carat diamond you should make at least 300,000 or more in point/credits from what I have seen lately in auctions. Great luck to you. Be sure and try to get more and better photos up ;D
Welcome to listia! Great auction! This is beautiful! I seen you said you need it for xmas money and diapers... I know you're new. Do you understand how this site works? Everything is for credits and then you get to bid on items you want and need. (Like this ring in my case, lol) That being said, Are you still autioning this beauty off on here? I've been saving credits up for exactly something like this! Good luck to you, and God Bless?
