FREE: Vintage Pink clip on Earrings- bakelite?

I have here a pair of vintage clip on earrings.They are some sort of plastic & could very well be bakelite. I know how to do the hot needle test to test for bakelite, but I didn't want to take a chance of damaging these earrings in any way.So, they may be real, may not, just not sure. they were given to me by my mom & she has collected stuff for about 65 years now, she was born in 1936 and collected all sorts of vintage & antique things throughout her life.I myself have no use for these but thought someone here might. they measure about 1 1/2 inches long from tip to tip and about 3/4 inches at the widest point.
