Description

The listing, VINTAGE DOLLIE - Cinderella, a Liddle Kiddle Storykin has ended.

This pretty doll was made by Hasbro in 1967, there's a maker's mark (kind of a signature for a toy) on her upper back. She's "Cinderella", one of the Storykin series of "Liddle Kiddles", based on fairy and folk tales.

The wire is missing from one of her arms so it's not as posable as the other. You can see a teeny hole between her fingers where it was, but I think that's standard as you can see one on the bottoms of her feet too and they're perfect.

The pink and white outfit she's wearing is not her original, I just couldn't put her up naked. I tried to keep her princessy. Her hair is rooted and style-able. It seemed like she had it up before, so I put it back up with a flower. She's about 3 inches tall, she's blond, and she likes trying on shoes.

I'm trying to coordinate with your dollhouse by making little dresses with pink in them. My mother bought me fabric for doll dresses last Christmas and she completely missed that the dolls clothes need to look good with their home.

When I was 3 or 4 I was given a jewelry kiddle doll by the man my mother should have married instead of my stepfather. She's the only doll I ever had because my mom was a feminist and didn't believe in them.

See, now you know my age.

LOL...I remember these dolls and I too had a ton of Barbies along with Dawn and her boyfriend and one of their friends.....lost them in the cinder block foundation of my grandfather's garage when I was playing with them one day, never to see them again...as the blocks went about 10 deep!!
If I had the credits, I'd be bidding for my granddaughters.

Yeah, for real! Depending on which Barbies you had, that foundation could be worth several THOUSAND more! LOL!!!

It was Dawn and her boyfriend that I lost, since they were so small. I don't even know if the garage is still there. My cousin inherited the property when Grandpa passed away, and now someone else owns it. They are probably a horrible mess by now!
