The listing, 1912 Antique BURMA (Myanmar) Rangoon POSTCARD Golden Pagoda Interior has ended.

Yangon also known as Rangoon (In 1989, the current military junta changed the city's English name to "Yangon"), was the former capitol of Burma (which is now Myanmar).

If you read information on Burma / Myanmar, you will find name changes as different groups come into power. Many older Burmese do not accept the name changes.

This postcard is of the interior of the Shwedagon Pagoda officially named Shwedagon Zedi Daw and also known in English as the Golden Pagoda.

It's postmarked 1912, and in very good condition.
