Are they true to size? I wear a 7.5.

The shoes are European so the size is metric (33) which I believe is 7 1/2. I have really wide feet so the buckle and strap are an issue for me. I love the shoes but they hurt me.

No,you can't be right. A 33 in European is a 2.5- 3. Are you sure it says 33

Well, it says 33 but my granddaughter is a 7 1/2 and she tried them on.. no problem, they fit. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what the 33 means? It is stamped into the leather in the sole. <<sigh>>
