Why should I not share my ESN / IMEI / MEID publicly?

We don't want sellers to publicly post ESN numbers because it can promote fraud.

For instance, dishonest people will take other people's ESN numbers and try to use them to create fraudulent listings. We've seen it happen before, and it creates headaches for the honest seller who shared their ESN. Some ESN numbers can also be stolen to "spoof" (steal) service on some networks and can be used in clone devices, etc.

So asking for an ESN number from an honest seller is unnecessary because they should have already verified it was clean before listing. And asking for an ESN number from a dishonest seller is pointless because they could provide you a fake one.

Not for sure, I thought that u couldnt use 4g on Verizon prepaid, but a lady on another auction said u could. Be best to check though.

Thank you, it is a great phone. Its pretty fast, I used it for almost a year and never had any probs. Its ur typical android so it just takes a sec to turn completely on. But all apps that I have had on it run great and are very prompt depending on how good ur signal is depending on the area u live I live in the country so I mostly used it on wifi. But it is a great phone.
