These are costume jewelry. Light weight, and very pretty. On the front starting on one earring, and finishing up on the other earring is the entire verse of John 3:16, very clearly enscribed. On the back there is the symbol of the Christian fish with the name Jesus inside each fish, and below the fish it says John 3:16 on each earring. In the photos it looks like there are scratches, but there are no marks on these earrings. This is from the flash shadows, because they have a slight texture on them. These are gold tone... not real gold. I have a pair that I wear a lot, and they have not turned colors on me. Everytime I wear mine, I get compliments on them because they are so totally unusual. This pair is a NEW pair, never worn, like I said, I have my own pair that I wear quite a lot.
