The listing, 13" STATUE ORIENTAL WARRIOR MAN WITH SHIELD & SWORD has ended.

This 13" statue appears to be a plaster-of-paris, hand painted, copy of an Asian warrior man with a lion shield and sword. A search on the internet will show you many statues exactly like this one only most are actually carved of bone, wood, etc. and usually very old. This one is definitely a copy and the only age I can put on it is that I've had it for 20+ years, and I do not remember where I got it.

It is painted with a kind of "pearlized" light beige paint. It was hand-painted as you can see brush strokes on the bottom of the base, which is also where you can see that it is plaster-of-paris from a mold.

It is very attractive and has no scratches, chips or wear.
