The 2012 Core Set Player's Guide contains descriptions of the themes in the set, descriptions of each color within the set (complete with strategies and deck lists), and also contains a full color Card Encyclopedia which contains a complete list of all the cards within the set to assist in knowing whats out there.The poster is made of stiff cardboard and measures about 8"x20".
The 2012 Core Set pamphlet gives a description of each color and contains a complete deck list, description, and strategies for each of the introductory decks that can be purchased or build.
The How to Play pamphlet is just that. A complete description of all rules and terminology for those people unfamiliar with the game or that simply need a a refresher. There is also a description of the five planeswalkers.
