That is interesting since the glasses designed for movie theater use are polarized - meaning that two separate images must be projected onto a screen simultaneously with each image polarized ninety degrees out of phase with the other image - and the glasses used for the new 3D television sets use an electronic shutter on each lens - where each each left-right pair of images are flashed on the screen in sequence with the corresponding shutter opening on the glasses to allow that image to reach the correct eye.
If what you are saying is true, that these came with your television, then I am honestly intrigued. I have been a TV service tech for over 25 years and I try to stay up to date on new technologies. If these did indeed come with your television, would you mind telling me the make and model? I would like to find out more about television that uses polarized glasses.
I have no idea what it was....my fiance got it for me, we set it up...had it for about 2 months and got rid of it because we couldn't afford 3-D movies. We sold it on Craigslist and I found these about a month ago and decided to post them.
