Red Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper
Fruits of red/orange Bhut Jolokia ripen from green to orange and
then to red when fully ripe. Up to 1,001,304 Scoville Units.
They need 5 months of hot weather to produce peppers. Soak seeds overnight in water. Germination takes 7-21 days but could take as long as 40 days. Start them indoors 10 - 14 weeks before last frost. Then harden off. I recommend planting them in pots as the soil will be warmer. That is how I grew mine. I also recommend wearing rubber or latex gloves when handling the seeds. If you don't and then touch your eyes it will burn.
