i am this one close and i got 3 1943 copper pennys from my uncle over 30 yrs ago. they are worth about $80.000 each in today market.
holly cow I had no clue the 1943 copper penny was worth that much I have 1 and just thought it was a reg penny .....whoa ho....wow that is very cool to know....also this is a great looking coin you have here wish I had more credits to bid but credit poor I do the same thing spend them as soon as I get them ..lol...but anyway this is a great auction and a very cool old morgan
I had no idea either. I always thought the 1909 vdb penny is the best one to have. Thanks for stopping by my auction. And yes your right....this is a pretty cool looking Morgan. Nice one to get graded also. Ttyl8r.
yeah I got in some change back from when I went and got cigs and gas I just checked it to make sure it would not stick to a magnet and it did not so it is the real deal cause they have some out there that plate them with copper or file down the 1948 to make it look like a 43 so I had checked it and put it under the microscope and it is real I never had any idea thank god I did not let the kids use it for candy or loose the darn thing I always hang on to all my old copper pennies I guess I will have to start checking dates and such on them cause ya never know and I always check my change I found a few merc dimes a couple barber dimes got lucky when I got a few rolls of halfs from the bank and found a couple walkers and franklins I found I time a stone mountain half in 1of the rolls have no idea on what its worth but still cool....well man good luck with this cool old coin and I am sure you will get a boat load of credits for it and yep I would have it graded if I was able to get it I need to send in a few I have but just so darn much to have them graded mainly when they may be worth less than the grading but its worth a try at least they will be graded and will just leave them to the kids when I am pushing up daisies...well good luck and hope you are having a great new year.....fanned and def watching
For grading its not too expensive. You pay for a year membership like $120 than it's like $10 for each graded coins you want to get graded. They get you on price when your not a member. You gotta become member to get it cheaper their grading services.
Pmg grade ing service. Stands for paper money grading. You can look pmg up on internet also. Or pccg I think to. Paper currency coin grading. Something like that.
