these are giants and they grow in zones 5 thru 11 full sun to part shade this is the largest herbaceous in the world the leaves reach 6 feet in diameter and grows over 10 feet tall 3 year old plants are huge so plan accordingly this is the granddaddy of big leaf plants and will be one heck of a focal point in your id say garden but it will probley be the main focal point of your yard my husband ordered these off of ebay and i am sharing the leftovers in fall cut down and cover with dry mulch and cover with water resistant material thanks for looking this plant requires good soil and steady moisture by a pond if you have one or soaker hose

My garden needs a focal point, however these would be my garden as it is only about the size of this plant. I do want it though and will plant at property line so my neighbor would have to move leaves to mow his lawn lol. Bid and fanned you

the flowers are real small and kinda hidden i cant tell how many seeds they produce that much as i battled a snake for the seeds i have now should have never planted near swamp

comes up every year in falll after first frost cut back and mulch real good and cover with a water proof tarp until spring and enjoy again
