The listing, Real Vintage Coca-Cola Bottling Company Cancelled Check 1940 has ended.
FUN for the Coke, Coca-Cola, soda pop collector or retro vintage antique collectors in your life. This would be a fun wall decoration for a small area if framed - especially if it was a double glass frame so you can see the back and front - this check is drawn on the Ardmore Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Ardmore, Oklahoma bank account on April 30, 1940 (right after the Great Depression ended and right in the middle of World War II). During WWII many women went to work and this check's signature is Sara M McDaniel (with a note under the signature "by A.G.") the check is made out to an employee named, Nick Cunningham (the era for some reason reminded me of Mr. & Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days with the Fonz :D) .. it is check number 964 To Exchange National Bank for $135.00. The check when received by the bank was punched PAID +5 +1 40 86*57. I tried to hold it up to the light in some pictures so you can see through it. Just a little piece of paper to have as a bit of our nations history. Would also be fun to show grandchildren or for a class when you're teaching about WWII. Another interesting thing to me is the handwriting. Mr. Cunningham has excellent handwriting for his signature - something not focused on in our school systems today. In pretty good shape some light discoloration I took pretty good pictures so you can see most everything.
