The listing, Upcycled Bead Necklace (Plastic & Bone Beads) has ended.
A simple necklace made from thrift store broken jewelry (including jump rings and clasp) and assorted beads. The clear, red, white, and green beads and faceted drop pendant are plastic. The metal beads are gold tone. The off-white opaque beads are bone.
Barrel clasp and jump ring bail are darkened with age, possibly originally brass. I liked the punk, "junk drawer" look of the components and left them as they were.
It's a very lightweight necklace that won't be cold in winter like glass, ceramic, or metal heavy necklaces. About 14" long, but I would restring it for you longer (depending on supplies) since I would like to restring it to fix a gap that has appeared between the knotted sections.
Hand made by me. Not to everyone's tastes, I know, but I think it has a charm from its one-of-a-kind personality. Plastic beads always make me think of the movie Labyrinth. "Oooh, plastic!"
