Description
The listing, Dale Earnhardt Lovers, This Auction Is For You!!! has ended.
This auction is for a collection of original Newspapers from Daytona Beach, FL and Orlando, FL when Nascar Legend, Dale Earnhardt, was killed racing in the Daytona 500 2/18/01. It is so hard to believe it has already been over 10 years ago. These papers are in original condition, never read and taken very good care of. Now it's time for someone to give them a new home!
Thank you, dear lady for offering these to the world. I hope I win the auction as my permanently disabled brother, John, is a huge NASCAR fan and has an entire wall of his 'man cave' dedicated to Dale Earnhart (and other car racing stars) who are sadly no longer with us...
Just a quick question (if you don't know the answer, no biggie as I can't find a link to 'contact us about a bug here...') but i am isted as the highest bidder wtih '624' points, bu even when rfreshing the page, it tells m that the curent point total is 535 (but still says I am the highest bidder.). This is my very first auction, so if I am asking something incredibly 'stupid' please be kind (or very naughty, LOL) with your responce...
Okay on mine it shows the high bid is 505. The person below you bid 500 so it will only bid what you need to be the highest bidder which is 505. Now if someone else bids it will continue to list you as high bidder until it reaches your max credits bid which you said is 624. If someone else bids 625 then they will be high bidder.
I apologize for all the misspelled (sp?) words above, but one day when I went to work, I left the door to my own 'man cave' ajar and our then kitten, 'Valkyrie' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyrie who craves attention, (and wonders why one of her 'daddies' spends 90 hours a day tying away at this thing) climbed up on my computer station and tore off about 9 of the keycaps on my laptop. Having never actually learned where the keys were (looking at keyboard when typing) it is a crap shoot what ***** out of it when writing to the world, LOL
