Good Luck and I can tell you from using one myself. I lost 1/2 inch after 45 minutes. And you are supposed to only drink water while wearing the patch and for the 72 hours after wrapping. I do have the instruction papers to go with it. I lost 2 more inches giving me a total of 2.5 inches lost in 72 hours. Probably would have lost more if I had drank only water!

It does both. It kind of tingles when you have it on or at least it did me. And i had it on my belly.

Yes it is only good for one use but continues to work for 3 days. When you remove the wrap are supposed to rub the remaining lotion in.
