These onions are so easy to grow! My plot began with sets from a friend's garden in Bland, New Mexico almost 20 years ago. They have been with me through several moves and have blessed many others with a VERY VERSATILE ONION. YOU CAN USE IT AS: Green Onion, small oinion bulb below or above ground or as you would shallots. Lovely mild creamy flavor. You don't have to do much, throw them in a workable plot and let them do the rest. I do like to plant them in the ground a bit sometimes to encourage bigger underground bulb growth. I have grown these is the Southwest, North Pacific and Baja. Never fussed over them and my current plot has sustained itself for more than a decade. Due to a mild winter I already have young bulbs to eat now.
