The listing, Vintage Italian charm Mary and Baby Jesus on front and Jesus on back has ended.

This is a very old charm made of unknown to me silver? It is marked Italy on the charm and that is all. It appears to be handcrafted. Not magnetic so unknown metal if not silver. I'm no expert for sure. I found this in a box I have had forever that was my grandfather's. He was not religious so might have been his mothers? He passed away in 1973 at the age of 73 so I do know it's very old. The last two pictures are truer to color against the skin. Please ask any questions before bidding and I'll do my best to answer. It's in pretty good shape. A little scratched around the edges but nothing real noticeable.

Hi .. it is pretty .. we had them a lot in Egypt, Italy, and other countries, it is metal does not rust , same as Tibetan silver which is not silver .. but you can wear it , swim and do housework without getting rusty ... some countries stamp it India, Italy ... It might be cast on and then hand finished .. I hope that helps, watching :)

Thanks for your comment. Sure it helps. I have no idea anything about it or it's oriigin. Just know it's very old and did appear handmade as you can see in the close up pictures but you would probably know more than me if you seen them before. Thank you for your help and input.
