The listing, Trinket box Faux Mother of Pearl has ended.

When I looked this up they said it was a cigarette box from the 50's but since I am not sure I just listed it as a trinket box. The 3rd picture is to show the wear on the bottom from being moved on a surface it is not much but wanted you to see. The inside is really pretty, the Faux Mother of Pearl is decorated with a small silver line and black flower like design in the middle it is 3 3/4" long and 3/4" high there is no damage to the top or inside.

this is a very cool piece...it does look like it may have been a cigarette box..when I first met my ex he had one of these on the coffee table..only it was made with popsicle sticks! anyway, im watching...im a collector of trinket boxes

Yes I think you're right I did go online and there was a phony hand holding one just like it in the cigarette box look-up but since I wasn't sure I just called it a trinket box. I love items that bring back old memories.
