The winner of this auction will receive the lot of used US postage "revenue" stamps shown above.I don't know much about these revenue stamps, but I know that there are a lot of them in this lot. I recently purchased a HUGE lot of used stamps at a local antique store and there was a large packet filled with these. I think all are from the 1910s and the packet they came in was from France, addressed to the library in Tama, IA. There are many duplicates here and the amounts and conditions vary. Some are in really good shape for their age while others are quite beat up. I considered breaking this lot apart but decided to offer up the entire contents. My count was 198 stamps.
