Italian Sweet Relleno grow on a bushy plant that reaches about 2 and a half foot high and produces sweet green peppers that turn red when mature. Usually picked at 5 to 6 inches long, these mild green turning to sweet red peppers resemble the more famous Anaheim peppers. These pepper plants are highly productive, with heavy fruited braches.

Italian Sweet Relleno are typically used when one wishes a mild to sweet and strong pepper taste with less heat and bite than you get with the Anaheim. I love them when they really get red and sweet!
