Description

The listing, 500 Roman Chamomile Seeds has ended.

Roman Chamomile (Chameamelum nobile)

Chamomile has long been planted as a ground cover in Europe. There is nothing like the soft feel underneath your feet and the pleasing aroma to accompany every step. An excellent substitution for grass in smaller yards too!

However, most of us know Chamomile has a medicinal herb used in teas to aid digestion, to soothe, calm and relax frayed nerves. To help you sleep and as a cleansing skin wash.

To answer your question for all of the herbs you posted this on in my auctions, none of them are genetically modified. Thanks. :-)

No problem! :-) but just in case I ever do list anything that would be gmo, like a pineberry for example, I would say it was gmo. But I steer clear of eating gmo foods so I highly doubt I would ever list a gmo seed. Thanks again. :-)

In all fairness, you should mention how invasive Chamomile is. I started with one small pot of flowers on my deck four years ago and now it is everywhere on my two acres (and my neighbors' properties), particularly where I don't want it. I spend more time ripping out Chamomile from my other flower and veggie gardens than I do other weeds, even in winter where it seeded itself in the potted plants I bring indoors. On the plus side, deer, woodchucks, and bunnies don't touch it.

You're right, it can be invasive, especially when you don't deadhead the spent flowers before they go to seed. I list most of my herbs at the request of other Listians who ask me to list them. Personally, I Google everything before I buy it or attempt to grow it for just that reason. :-)
