It's a replica, and does not have any true numismatic value. People will still bid, as this might be the only way to have it in their collection, or have another reason (i.e. Learning tool, show & tell) People do collect copy/replica coins and currency. Granted the do sell these on eBay as the do have authentic and replicas, but they are required to disclose that it is a copy/replica.
