it says for Aquariums up to 5.5 US gal. ( thank you for asking that I did not see that and should have put that on there) it also says 25W . I do not know much about fish tanks . Thanks again for the question

thats what it says , Like I said I do not know much about aquariums but the package says it is good for aquariums up to 5.5 US gal. I personally have never had a fish tank or used any of these . Sorry
