I think it needs to be connected via either a modem cradle or some other gateway. But, I really don't know. It confuses me as well. I think it's best feature is that it is a pocket sized eReader. But that's just my thoughts on it. Thanks & Good Luck :)

As I just stated to the last questioner... I believe it requires a modem of some sort or a gateway. I do not believe it has wifi installed. I have heard of wifi adapters for things like this but you would have to look that up via Google. Thanks & Good Luck :)

Just an update... While downloading the Desktop Software I found that the Palm m500 uses Opera Mini which is a Web Browser. So yes this will connect to the Internet. Just not sure how. I am including the software for this program as well. :)

Please feel free to read the box. As well as the paperwork as they both do clearly state that this is an ereader. The other member saying it was not was just trying to get it cheap and now he has been blocked and will not get it at all. Thanks & Good Luck everyone.
