no not at all there are a small percentage of cats that it has no effect on so they tend to not be interested in it. There is nothing wrong with your cat..:)

my boys still play the ones I gave them 2 months ago
so even when we cant really smell it anymore they can cats have as high a sense of smell as dogs.
