Here is a cool medal from a 1966 coin show in Hanover, PA, celebrating the designs of Christian Gobrecht. His most renown designs were the 1836-1839 silver dollars, and the same eagle design was also placed on the reverse of the Flying Eagle cent coin from 1856-1858.
