Basically, this SD card will allow you send your pictures to your laptop from your CELLPHONE without having to go through annoying process of plugging up cords on every thing you needed to plug. So yes, this SD card needs to be downloaded on a COMPUTER or a LAPTOP to start the whole process and make sure you have a cellphone that can download the app of the Eye-Fi!

I don't have a phone so I didn't think I needed this! I figured why not give it away to others that might want this! This is great for people who loves to take pictures and share it with others but not wanting to go through the hassle of connecting all the equipments.
