This was my sister's phone. She upgraded to one of those phones that looks like a cross between a tablet and a big screen TV. More power to her. Rooting these things is as easy as pie. Installing CWM and clearing it so it works on any provider is legal and easy to do. I can walk you through it, or you can stay with Virgin. It might even have a sim (I doubt it) that you can just switch out, but shoot the phone has such a good camera I know she used it for awhile JUST for that. I really does have a killer camera. Doesn't come with a charger but it uses mini USB and those are 1
$ at the 1$ store

EDIT: This phone is LG model # VM670 The LG Optimus. I forgot to mention that RIGHT before she quit using it she got a braaaaaaaaaand new battery and dem thangs spensive...
