FREE: Marigold Seeds

I have a huge gallon-size plastic bag full of flower seeds from MY flowers from last year. I will take a small plastic bag (as shown in picture), and put in it a "big ole pinch" of seeds from my bag for you.

The majority of seeds are marigolds, and there are all different varieties - some are small, some are medium, some are quite tall. Some are yellow, some are orange, some are reddish-brown, and others are beautiful combinations of all these colors!

There are probably between 100 and 200 seeds in each "pinch", so I do hope you have either a lot of flowerbeds, or a lot of friends to share with. They are mostly marigolds, but you may occasionally get a zinnia, or a petunia, or a wildflower seed in there, too. (no guarantees either way on that - you may get all marigolds, or you may get other oddball seeds with marigold seeds).

This is the perfect time of year to get them started INSIDE. Then, after the last frost you'll have strong little seedlings to transplant outside or to share!

Marigolds are very bright, happy, pretty flowers and very easy to grow - very hardy plants, and they don't require a lot of "work"! They don't have a particularly good odor, but it is a natual "bug repellant" - if you plant them AROUND your garden, their aroma will keep certain bugs away from your tender vegetables!
