FREE: VINTAGE DR. PEPPER BOTTLE

This is a six and a half ounce clear VINTAGE DR. PEPPER BOTTLE. It is eight and a quarter inches tall and was made in the late forties. All of the lettering, logos and numbers are embossed or raised. On the front of the bottle it reads Dr.Pepper, note the period after Dr. The period was eliminated sometime in the fifties. Under the word Dr.Pepper it reads GOOD FOR LIFE. On the back there is a large circle that represents a clock, and there are three hands that point to the numbers 10-2 and 4. This was a marketing idea that was introduced in 1926 it stood for DRINK A BITE TO EAT at 10-2 and 4. On the bottom it tells where it was made. This one says Long Beach California and in the middle there is a logo and left of it are the numbers 23 and right of it is the number 9. I found a very small chip at the top but there are no cracks and it is in fair condition.
