To, theinkman26: In answer to your comment, you are misinformed. During World War 2, Due to a critical shortage of nickel, the US Mint produced 40% Silver nickels. I942 Thru 1945. Only on these nickels will you find the mint mark on the reverse over the dome. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding that you or others may have. I appreciate your comment, Thank you.
