I'm not quite positive on that, but I've posted a picture with the measuring tape across the chest area, and it measures almost 18". And it is made with extra room in that area as well, which you can tell in the photos. Additionally, if worn open, the tank top beneath is super stretchy material and roomy to begin with, so I don't think you'd have any trouble. :)
